QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
WILL IT HURT?
It may hurt, all depends on your pain threshold. The first wax is typically the most painful. We recommend taking some pain relief medication 30-45 minutes before your appointment (usage advised by professional health doctors). Waxing is a procedure that will damage your hair follicle making each service more and more comfortable.
WHY IS NOT GOOD TO SHAVE?
Shaving cuts away hairs at the skin’s surface, which can cause hair to grow back quicker, and thicker. Re-growth possibly the next day or in some cases the same day, which also can result in skin irritation like bumps, blisters and ingrown hair.
Regular waxing clients return every 3-6 weeks to keep everything maintained and feeling their physical best.

ETIQUETTE
Erections can happen during the service. We expect and respect our clients understand that this is a professional setting, and no-nonsense will be tolerated. Our specialists have the right to refuse or discontinue service if someone is deliberately seeking out sexual gratification. If etiquette is not being respected, services will be stopped immediately and the client will be asked to leave the premises and no longer welcomed in our spa.
I HAVE WAXED BEFORE, MY SKIN BECAME SPOTTY AND HAD SOME INGROWN HAIRS.
Some are prone to ingrown hairs than others are not. We recommend exfoliation no more than twice a week and the use of homecare products will minimize the chances of skin reactions or ingrown hairs.
– Exfoliate 3 days after your waxing service.
– Hydrate. Hydrate by moisturizing your skin to allow the hair to grow through and prevent breakage during waxing.
– Apply an ingrown serum twice a day to clean the hair follicle from the inside out.
HOW LONG SHOULD THE HAIR GROW BEFORE I HAVE TO WAX?
3-6 weeks is the average time in between waxing, do not trim, shorter hairs are harder to remove.
